Vikings 30, Jets 24 (OT): Rookie Teddy Bridgewater connected on an 87-yard touchdown pass to Jarius Wright 4:39 into overtime as host Minnesota kept alive its flickering postseason hopes with its fourth win in six games.

New York's Nick Folk matched a career high by making his fifth field goal of the contest - a 44-yarder with 23 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. After Blair Walsh's 56-yard attempt sailed wide right to force overtime, Wright ended the contest by taking a screen pass, escaping one would-be tackle and breezing past defensive end Sheldon Richardson on his way down the right sideline.

Bridgewater (19-of-27, 309 yards) tossed a 56-yard touchdown pass to Charles Johnson for the Vikings (6-7), who scored 12 seconds into the game as linebacker Gerald Hodges made a left-handed interception of Geno Smith and rumbled 27 yards. Wright finished with four catches for 123 yards and Johnson added four for 103.

Smith overcame his early misfire to go 18-of-29 for 254 yards and a touchdown for the Jets (2-11), who suffered their first loss to Minnesota since 1975. Percy Harvin reeled in a 35-yard touchdown pass to highlight his six-reception, 124-yard performance against the team that selected him with a first-round pick in 2009.

Johnson made a double move on rookie cornerback Marcus Williams and cruised into the end zone with 5:53 remaining in the first quarter to give Minnesota a 14-9 lead. Fullback Jerome Felton recovered a fumble by Johnson in the end zone early in the second to increase the Vikings' advantage to 21-12 before Folk drilled three short field goals and answered Walsh's late 20-yard kick with a 44-yarder with 23 seconds remaining in the fourth to forge a 24-24 tie.

GAME NOTEBOOK: New York seized a 9-7 lead as Richardson sacked Bridgewater for a safety and Harvin snared an underthrown ball midway into the first quarter for his first touchdown reception since Oct. 25, 2012. ... Jets WR Eric Decker, who attended the University of Minnesota, made six catches for 89 yards. ... New York RB Chris Ivory was stripped of the ball by Vikings S Andrew Sendejo at the goal line in the second quarter to end a promising drive, resulting in his first lost fumble since his rookie season with New Orleans in 2010.
