Vikings 19, Buccaneers 13 (OT): Linebacker Anthony Barr returned a fumble 27 yards on the first play of overtime to lift Minnesota over host Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers had the ball first in the extra period and Mike Glennon fired a 10-yard pass to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who fumbled on Barr’s hit. The rookie linebacker scooped the ball up and rumbled for the score as the Vikings (3-5) overcame squandering a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead to snap a three-game slide.

Rookie Teddy Bridgewater went 24-of-42 for 241 yards and one touchdown while Jerick McKinnon rushed for 83 yards to lead Minnesota. Glennon completed 19-of-28 for 171 yards, one TD and one interception as the Buccaneers (1-6) dropped to 0-4 on the road.

The Vikings snapped a scoreless draw and went into the locker room with the lead when Blair Walsh connected on a 46-yard field goal as time expired in the second quarter. McKinnon ran for 30 yards on a six-play drive in the third quarter before Bridgewater hooked up with Greg Jennings for a 17-yard TD and a 10-0 lead.

Patrick Murray connected from 54 yards with 14:17 left to get Tampa Bay on the board and hit from 45 yards on the next drive to cut it to 10-6. Mike James came in for his only carry of the afternoon and converted a 4th-and-1 run in the red zone before Glennon hit Seferian-Jenkins on the left side for a 7-yard score with 2:02 to play.
