Jaguars (2-12) quarterback Chad Henne, who played four seasons with the Dolphins, did not fare well in his homecoming. He was 18-of-34 for 221 yards and did not have a touchdown or an interception.

Josh Scobee capped Jacksonville's opening drive with a 37-yard field goal to give the Jaguars a 3-0 lead, but Miami scored 24 consecutive points as the defense allowed just 299 total yards.

Tannehill gave the Dolphins a 10-3 halftime lead with a 4-yard toss to Jorvorskie Lane with 1:56 left in the second quarter, and he put it away with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Fasano with 3:17 left in the fourth.
