Freshman forward Ivan Rabb posted a double-doubled to lead Cal to an 87-65 victory over visiting USC on Sunday evening at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif.

Rabb had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Cal (21-8, 11-5 Pac-12 Conference). Freshman forward Jaylen Brown had 18 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard Jordan Mathews scored 17 points. Junior guard and senior guard Tyrone Wallace scored 12 points apiece.

Junior forward Nikola Jovanovic had 21 points and nine rebounds for USC (19-10, 8-8). Junior guard Julian Jacobs had 11 points, six assists and five rebounds.

The teams exchanged leads over the first 12 minutes of the opening period. USC went up 14-11 on a layup by Jovanovic. Cal went up 24-22 on a jumper by Rabb. The game was tied with 8:26 to go, but the Golden Bears ended the half with an 18-4 run to take a 44-30 lead at the break.

The Bears extended their lead to 19 on a 3-pointer by Brown early in the second half and went up 54-32 on a 3-pointer by Mathews. They took a 69-44 lead on a jumper by Wallace and led by as many as 29 points late in the game.
