Big 12 scoring leader Buddy Hield scored six of his eight points in overtime and Jordan Woodard, despite noticeably limping with a hip pointer, added eight points for the Sooners.

Texas Tech, which trailed by six points with 1:40 to go in regulation, forced overtime when Gotcher nailed a 3-pointer after purposely missing a free throw that Manderson rebounded and kicked back out. Gotcher, who finished 4-of-7 from 3-point range, tied the game again at 75-75 in overtime with another trey but Thomas put the Sooners ahead to stay with a free throw and Evans, Manderson and Gotcher all missed 3-pointers down the stretch as Oklahoma sealed the win at the free throw line.

Texas Tech, which set a Big 12 record for fewest points in a 81-36 loss to the Sooners in the first meeting, almost matched that point total in the first half.
