No. 1 Kentucky 70, Texas A&M 64 (2 OT): Tyler Ulis hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:25 remaining in double overtime as the visiting Wildcats survived beyond regulation for the second consecutive game.

Devin Booker scored 18 points off the bench and Trey Lyles tied the game with two free throws with 6.1 seconds left in the first overtime for Kentucky (15-0, 2-0 SEC), which needed overtime to win its conference opener Tuesday against Ole Miss. Aaron Harrison scored 12 points but the Wildcats shot 28.1 percent from the field and 25-of-35 from the free-throw line.

Danuel House scored a career-high 25 points while Kourtney Roberson added 11 points and eight rebounds for Texas A&M (9-5, 0-2), which made 13 of its first 24 shots from the field before missing 15 of their next 16 attempts, but rallied to tie the game at 53-53 on two House free throws with 18.3 seconds left in regulation. The Aggies finished 16-of-30 from the free-throw line and 2-of-15 from 3-point range.

House hit two free throws with two minutes remaining in double overtime to even the score at 63-63, but Ulis nailed a 3-pointer -- his only basket of the game – 35 seconds later and House missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with 15 seconds to play. Dakari Johnson, who went 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in the second extra period, grabbed the rebound and made two foul shots on the other end to establish a four-point cushion.

House’s two free throws with two minutes left in the first overtime gave Texas A&M a one-point lead and, after Tavario Miller’s free throw with 27 seconds to play pushed the lead to 57-55, Lyles corralled an offensive rebound and hit two from the line with 6.1 seconds left to force double overtime. Kentucky led 47-41 on Aaron Harrison’s dunk with just over nine minutes remaining in regulation, but made one field goal the rest of the way as Andrew Harrison’s layup with 23 seconds left rolled out and House tied the contest at 53-53 with two free throws five seconds later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Aggies missed their final five shots of the first half and 10 of their first 11 after halftime, with Kentucky grabbing its first lead at 29-28 on a pair of free throws by Aaron Harrison just under a minute into the second half. … Texas A&M G Jalen Jones, the team’s leading scorer (13.3) and rebounder (six), missed his second consecutive game with a high ankle sprain. … Booker finished 4-of-7 from 3-point range but Aaron Harrison went 2-of-13 from long range and 4-of-20 overall.
