Iona 94, Wake Forest 68: Sean Armand scored a game-high 28 points and dished out six assists and Lamont Jones added 21 points and six assists as the Gaels hammered the Demon Deacons in the losers' bracket of the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam.

Coming off a 98-92 overtime loss to Quinnipiac that didn't end until after midnight local time the previous night, the Gaels (2-1) didn't show any signs of fatigue. They outscored the Demon Deacons 41-5 in the first 12:10 and coasted to halftime with a 54-24 lead.

Iona cooled off a bit in the second half, but Wake Forest (1-2) was never able to get closer than 25 points.

Armand was 7-of-10 from 3-point range as the Gaels went 14-of-28 from behind the arc. Jones and Tre Bowman (15 points) each hit three 3-pointers.

Travis McKie had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead Wake Forest. Madison Jones and C.J. Harris added 10 points apiece.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Iona improved to 34-4 under coach Tim Cluess when scoring at least 80 points and 15-2 when scoring at least 90. … Armand, Jones and Bowman have combined for 137 of Iona's 186 points in the first two games of the tournament. … The Demon Deacons will face Mercer in the seventh-place game at 2:30 p.m. ET on Monday, while Iona will take on Illinois-Chicago in the fourth-place game at 5 p.m. ET the same day.
