No. 2 Gonzaga 70, Brigham Young 65: Kelly Olynyk scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting as the visiting Bulldogs held off the Cougars in West Coast Conference play.

Gary Bell Jr. added 15 points and Elias Harris had 11 points and 10 rebounds as Gonzaga (28-2, 15-0 WCC) recorded its 11th consecutive victory.

Tyler Haws scored 19 points and Brandon Davies added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Brigham Young (20-10, 9-6), which has lost four of its last six games.

Harris’ free throw with 3:52 remaining snapped a tie as the Bulldogs used a 7-2 run to take a 67-62 lead. Craig Cusick hit three free throws with seven seconds remaining before Harris hit three of four free throws down the stretch to seal it.

Gonzaga led 35-31 at halftime and boosted its lead to 54-43 on a 3-pointer by Kyle Dranginis with 10:53 to play. BYU answered with a 17-6 run with Brock Zylstra hitting two 3-pointers, Cusick knocking down one and Davies hitting two free throws to tie the contest at 60 with 4:18 remaining.
