No. 6 Gonzaga 82, Pepperdine 56: Kevin Pangos scored 14 points to lead four players in double figures as the Bulldogs remained unbeaten in West Coast Conference play with a rout of the visiting Waves.

Gonzaga (22-2, 9-0 WCC) forced 15 turnovers in the first half and led 58-32 after Kyle Dranginis hit one of his three 3-pointers with 11:06 remaining. Dranginis finished with 11 points and Przemek Karnowski added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs, who made 12 shots from beyond the arc and cruised to their fifth straight win.

Stacy Davis had 16 points and nine rebounds for Pepperdine (10-13, 2-8), which has lost four straight and seven of their last eight. The Waves have lost 24 consecutive games to the Bulldogs dating to 2002.

Pepperdine, which lost 78-62 when the teams met in Malibu on Jan. 3, committed 20 turnovers and shot 36.2 percent from the field. Nikolas Skouen had 12 points, including three 3-pointers.

Gonzaga 7-footer Kelly Olynyk, who was named the WCC Player of the Month for a second straight month after averaging 21.1 points in January, sat for most of the second half with the game out of reach and finished with 13 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Memphis transfer Drew Barham made his first career start for Gonzaga and scored nine points on three 3-pointers. … Pepperdine’s leading scorer, Lorne Jackson, was held to nine points on 3-of-12 shooting. …Gonzaga improved to 116-8 at the McCarthey Athletic Center, which opened in 2004.
