Washington State 75, Utah 65: Mike Ladd led all starters in double figures with a career-high 22 points as the host Cougars cruised to the Pac-12 victory.

Washington State (10-7, 1-3 Pac-12) never trailed in snapping its three-game losing streak. Brock Motum scored all 14 of his points in the second half. Royce Woolridge also scored 14 for the Cougars.

Washington State led 34-26 at the half. The Cougars opened up a 47-31 lead on a jumper by Dexter Kernich-Drew with 12:43 left but the Utes responded with a 10-0 run to get back into the game.

Motum hit a 3-pointer and soon after Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak was called for a technical foul. Motum hit both technical free throws and Woolridge followed with a 3-pointer and the Cougars were in complete control again.

Utah (8-9, 0-5) was led by Brandon Taylor with 13 points, but the Utes dropped their sixth straight game and have yet to win on the road in the Pac-12 since joining the conference last year.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jason Washburn added 10 points and six rebounds for Utah. Justin Seymour had 11 points for the Utes. … The Utes had 17 turnovers which led to 28 Washington State points. …The teams combined to go 19-for-37 from 3-point range.
