Seth Allen scored 13 points off the bench to lead a balanced attack as the Terrapins closed out the non-conference slate with their 12th straight victory.

Logan Aronhalt scored 10 points while Alex Len and Dez Wells added nine apiece for Maryland (12-1), which has not lost since the opener against Kentucky. Nine of the 13 players to see the floor for the Terrapins had at least five field goal attempts, and no one had more than six.

Sean Esposito had 16 points and Lyonell Gaines collected 14 and seven rebounds for the Jaguars (6-12).

IUPUI jumped out to a 14-3 lead before Allen hit back-to-back 3-pointers to get the Terrapins’ offense going. Wells capped a 14-0 run with a three-point play to put Maryland on top 23-19, and it would spread to 41-34 at the half.

Shaquille Cleare hit three straight jumpers and Pe’Shon Howard scored five points during an 11-2 burst that provided a 59-43 gap with 12:04 to play. Allen’s dunk made it 77-52 with just under four minutes left and allowed the Terrapins to coast to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Maryland opens ACC play by hosting Virginia Tech on Saturday. … The Jaguars, who have already played four conference games, closed out their non-conference schedule against the Terrapins. They return to the Summit League with a visit to Western Illinois on Saturday. … Allen and Aronhalt combined to go 5-for-7 from 3-point range to help Maryland shoot 54.7 percent from the field.
