Freshman Joe Rahon went 6-of-6 from 3-point range en route to a career-high 24 points as the Eagles coasted past the visiting Big Green.

Olivier Hanlan added 15 points and seven rebounds and Ryan Anderson had 12 and seven as all five starters reached double figures for Boston College (8-5). The Eagles have won five straight and will open ACC play by hosting North Carolina State on Saturday.

Connor Boehm collected 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Dartmouth (2-9), which was held under 60 points for the seventh time in 11 games.

Boston College closed the first half on a 7-0 burst to take a 41-33 lead into the locker room and began to spread it out after the break. Rahon hit three 3-pointers in the first six minutes of the second to help stretch the lead to 55-39.

Rahon’s fifth 3-pointer of the half extended the lead to 67-47 with 9:49 left and the Eagles made it 75-49 when Lonnie Jackson connected from beyond the arc just over three minutes later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dartmouth, which was playing the last of eight straight on the road, has lost six in a row. … The Big Green entered among the worst teams in Division I with a 35.9 percent team shooting percentage and went 20-for-54 (37 percent) against the Eagles. … Boston College went 13-for-14 from the free throw line.
