Ole Miss 76, McNeese State 50: Murphy Holloway scored 15 points and Reginald Buckner added 13 as the Rebels dominated the visiting Cowboys to remain unbeaten.

The Rebels (4-0) led 39-30 at halftime and drew clear with a 17-4 run to open the second half. Nick Williams had 10 points for Ole Miss, which outrebounded McNeese State 45-28.

Desharick Guidry had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Cowboys (1-3), who shot 33.9 percent from the field and made just one of their 12 attempts from 3-point range.

The teams combined for 34 turnovers, with Guidry committing seven of McNeese State’s total of 20.

McNeese State senior point guard Dontae Cannon’s early-season shooting slump continued against the Rebels. Cannon, who was named to the All-Southland Conference second team, finished with five points while going 2-for-10 from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rebels freshman point guard Derrick Millinghaus underwent surgery for a torn meniscus on Tuesday and will miss about four weeks. .. Ole Miss scored 90-plus points in three straight games to open the season. … Cowboys guard Kevin Hardy, who scored a career-high 18 points in the Cowboys’ 73-48 loss to LSU last Tuesday, finished with 11 points.
