Jason Clark scored a career-high 28 points as Georgetown used an efficient shooting performance to breeze past host Chaminade, 88-61, in a consolation game at the Maui Invitational Tournament on Tuesday.

Clark hit 10 of 12 his shots, including six 3-pointers to help the Hoyas (2-1) rebound from their hard-fought 67-63 loss to No. 14 Kansas in the late game Monday night.

Georgetown will face Memphis in the fifth-place game on Wednesday.

The Hoyas shot 57.9 percent from the field thanks to solid team play, recording 19 assists on its 33 made field goals, after finishing with just six on 22 field goals against the Jayhawks.

Chaminade (3-2) trailed UCLA by only two points at halftime in its first-round game on Monday, but could only keep up with the Hoyas for six minutes in this contest as Hollis Thompson and Otto Porter broke open a tie game with a pair of 3-pointers to key a 12-0 run.

The Silverswords, who trailed by as many as 28 points, could get no closer than 10 points the rest of the way.

Waly Coulibaly scored 18 points for Chaminade, which fell to 6-75 all-time in this tournament and will meet Tennessee in the seventh-place game on Wednesday.
