Terrence Ross hit his first seven shots of the second half and finished with a team-high 22 points as Washington rallied past visiting UCLA 71-69 on Thursday.

The Bruins had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Norman Powell missed a baseline jumper and the Huskies got the rebound to secure the victory.

Ross hit two huge 3-pointers to help the Huskies (15-7, 8-2 Pac-12) erase a 10-point deficit with a 13-0 run which began with seven minutes to play.

Seattle native Josh Smith scored 24 points and Lazeric Jones had 11 for UCLA (12-10, 5-5). David Wear finished with 10 for the Bruins, who fell to 1-7 on the road.

Tony Wroten added 13 points for the Huskies, who won their fourth straight game overall and beat the Bruins for the fourth straight time. Darnell Gant had 12 points.
