Michael Snaer scored 19 points and Florida State got double-digit point totals from four different players to win its third consecutive game, 84-70, over Maryland in Tallahassee.

Ian Miller (18 points), Bernard James (17) and Okaro White (13) all chipped in to a balanced offensive attack for the Seminoles (12-6, 3-1 ACC), who improved to 10-1 at home.

ACC leading scorer Terrell Stoglin’s 27 points was the offensive highlight for the Terrapins (12-5, 2-2 ACC), who only trailed Florida State 36-33 at the half.

Maryland shot 50 percent from the field, marking just the third time in 118 games the Seminoles have allowed an opponent to connect on at least half of its field goals.

After a 32-point breakout performance in Saturday’s upset win over No. 3 North Carolina that earned him ACC Player of the Week honors, Deividas Dulkys was held scoreless in the first half but found his 3-point stroke just long enough after halftime to contribute a pair of 3s that helped spark the decisive run for the Seminoles.

The Terrapins took their only lead of the game, 42-40, at the 17:25 mark of the second half. That margin lasted exactly seven seconds -- the only time in the last two games that Florida State has trailed at all -- and was followed promptly by a 21-3 run for the Seminoles.

The win marked Florida State’s first over Maryland since Jan. 17, 2009, and the Seminoles are now 10-29 all-time against the Terrapins.

Florida State a big test on tap, with a showdown against No. 4 Duke set for Saturday. Maryland will take a quick break from ACC play, visiting Temple in its final non-conference tilt of the season.
