Donte Poole scored 15 points and No. 22 Murray State remained one of six undefeated teams in Division I with an easy 78-54 victory over visiting Tennessee-Martin in the Ohio Valley Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday.
Murray State (13-0), which is off to the second best start in school history, darted to a 36-16 halftime lead and was never threatened.
The Racers also got 12 points and seven rebounds from Ivan Aska, as well as a dominant all-around game from guard Isaiah Canaan, who had 10 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Murray State shot 68.3 percent from the field despite committing a season-high 24 turnovers.
UT Martin (3-11), which shot only 33.9 percent from the field, was led by Myles Taylor's game-high 22 points.
