Dorenzo Hudson and Victor Davila had 15 points each to lead five players in double figures and Virginia Tech pulled away early in the second half for an 85-60 victory over visiting Campbell on Saturday.

Jarell Eddie had seven points as the Hokies (8-3) scored the first 15 points to open the second half, taking a commanding 47-29 lead. Virginia Tech made 19 of 26 from the field in the second half. Campbell turned the ball over five times in five minutes and missed its first four shots after halftime.

Erick Green added 12 points, Eddie 11 and Dorian Finney-Smith 10 for Virginia Tech, which won its third straight.

Trey Freeman recorded 16 points to lead Campbell (8-3). The Fighting Camels came into the game sixth in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage, but made just 1-of-12 from behind the arc Saturday.

Virginia Tech managed a 32-29 halftime lead, despite cold shooting. The Hokies shot just 37 percent from the field and made 1-of-7 from behind the 3-point line in the first half. Green made all six of his free throws and had 10 points for Virginia Tech in the opening 20 minutes.

Eric Griffin registered 15 points and Darren White 14 – just two in the second half -- for Campbell, which dropped to 1-29 against ACC schools.
