Guard D.J. Richardson scored 20 points and center Meyers Leonard had 18 as No. 22 Illinois stayed unbeaten with an 80-63 win over visiting Coppin State.

Leonard added 11 rebounds for the 10-0 Illini, off to their best start since opening 15-0 in the 2005-06 season.
