Steven Pledger and Cameron Clark hurt Oral Roberts for the second straight year, and Oklahoma continued its dominance over its in-state rival with a 73-59 win Thursday at Lloyd Noble Center.

Oklahoma (6-1) has won 12 of 14 all-time meetings and hasn't lost to Oral Roberts since 1977.

The loss snaps a six-game winning streak for Oral Roberts (6-3), which hadn't lost since dropping its first two games.

Pledger led the Sooners with 17 points, and Clark and Andrew Fitzgerald scored 16 points apiece. Pledger and Clark combined for 36 points in last year's 73-60 home win over the Golden Eagles.

After shooting a season-high 57.4 percent in Friday's blowout win over Sacramento State, the Sooners relied on a stiff defense against the Golden Eagles.

They held Oral Roberts to 36.7 percent shooting, including 1 for 15 from 3-point range.

Dominique Morrison scored a game-high 20 points for Oral Roberts. Morrison has scored in double digits in eight games this season and 79 times in his career.

Oklahoma has won 31 consecutive non-conference home games and 89 of 91 going back to Jan. 3, 2000.
