C.J. Wilcox scored 19 points and Terrence Ross added 13 points and 13 rebounds as host Washington rolled over Houston Baptist 88-65 on Friday.

Tony Wroten chipped in 14 points, five assists and six steals off the bench for the Huskies (4-1), who bounced back from their first loss last weekend.

Houston Baptist (2-4) hung around through the first 12 minutes before it fell apart. Washington ended the first half on a 19-6 run to go into the break with a 42-26 edge. Wilcox scored five points and Ross added a pair of 3-pointers during the burst.

Wilcox sparked a 10-0 run with another 3-pointer early in the second half, pushing the lead out to 65-40 and putting the game away.

Houston Baptist will not face another major-conference team this season, but does have a scheduled trip to No. 25 Creighton on tap for next month.

Marcus Davis collected 20 points and 14 rebounds for Houston Baptist, which committed 21 turnovers.
