Freshman Austin Rivers scored a game-high 18 points and No. 6 Duke stayed perfect in the Maui Invitational, pulling away from Tennessee for a 77-67 victory on Monday.

Ryan Kelly and Seth Curry scored 17 points apiece, and Mason Plumlee had a game-high 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils, who won this event in four previous appearances.

Duke (5-0) advanced to play No. 15 Michigan in Tuesday's semifinals, a rematch of last season’s NCAA Round of 32 game won by Duke 73-71. Tennessee (2-1) will face Memphis in the losers’ bracket.

Cameron Tatum’s driving layup capped a 12-4 Volunteers’ run that tied it at 45 with 15:29 left. But Miles Plumlee scored the next five points, including a hook shot for a three-point play, and the Blue Devils methodically expanded the lead.

Kelly’s alley-oop jam served as the exclamation point, making it 72-61 with four minutes left.

The win was No. 905 for coach Mike Krzyzewski, the all-time NCAA leader. Duke has won 33 straight November games.

Forward Jeronne Maymon led Tennessee with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
