Ole Miss held its second straight opponent to less than 40 points and rolled to a 69-39 win over Grambling State on Monday.

The Rebels (2-0) limited Grambling to only 28 percent shooting (14 of 50) and outrebounded the visitors 51-36. Ole Miss allowed 38 points in its season-opening win against Louisiana Monroe.

Murphy Holloway led Ole Miss with 14 points, hitting 7 of 11 shots, and 10 rebounds. Holloway, who transferred to South Carolina a year ago before having a change of heart and switching back to Ole Miss, now has 27 rebounds in two games. Reserve Aaron Jones added 10 points, as 11 players scored for the Rebels.

Grambling State (0-2) was led by Demetri Wheeler, who came off the bench to score 12 points. Rondale Livas had eight rebounds and seven assists, but turned it over nine times.

Ole Miss shot 52 percent in the first half and raced to a 47-17 lead at the break. The Rebels are now 33-0 against teams from the SWAC.
