Victor Oladipo had a team-high 21 points and Jordan Hulls added 18 as hot-shooting Indiana rolled to a 78-53 victory over Chattanooga Sunday in the Hoosier Invitational at Assembly Hall.

The Hoosiers shot 65.4 percent in their season-opening win against Stony Brook — the second-highest percentage of the Tom Crean era — and this time around, they converted on 50 percent of their field goals.

That included a 7-of-18 effort from 3-point range, with six of the makes coming from Hulls, who scored all 12 of his first-half points from the 3-point line.

Chattanooga took a 21-18 lead with 7:42 left in the first half on Omar Wattad’s 3-pointer, but the Hoosiers responded with an 18-3 run to close out the half.

Wattad had a game-high 24 points for the Mocs, who haven’t defeated a Big Ten team since 1997 and are 2-17 overall against the conference. Drazen Zlovaric added seven points and 10 rebounds.

Verdell Jones III had 11 of his 16 points in the second half for Indiana, which led by as many as 29 points. Highly touted freshman Cody Zeller, who had 16 points in his debut against Stony Brook, finished with seven points and five rebounds.
