Baylor used a 10-3 run during a four-minute stretch late in the second half to finish off a 58-51 victory over visiting Texas A&M on Saturday.
Perry Jones had 16 points and eight rebounds, and LaceDarius Dunn also scored 16 for Baylor (18-10, 7-7 Big 12), which hounded No. 17 Texas A&M into shooting 35 percent from the field.
Texas A&M (22-6, 9-5 Big 12), which had its five-game winning streak snapped, went scoreless for a seven minute stretch at the end of first half and beginning of the second that allowed the Bears to gain control of the game.
The Aggies clawed back and closed the deficit to 41-39 with 9:09 left on a layup by B.J. Holmes, but Texas A&M would get no closer as Baylor made 7 of 10 free throws in the last 2:17 to snap its two-game losing streak.
David Loubeau scored 14 points for Texas A&M, which next faces No. 2 Kansas on Wednesday.
Dunn, who is Baylor's all-time leader with 2,245 points, needs 12 points to surpass Texas Tech's Andre Emmett for the most points in Big 12 history.
