Malcolm Lee led five players in double figures with 16 points as UCLA overcame a sluggish start to rout Arizona State 71-53 in a Pac-10 game at the Pauley Pavilion Thursday night.

UCLA, which had its six-game winning streak stopped on Sunday night, fell behind by 12 midway through the first half but finished the half on a 30-8 run to take a 39-29 lead at the break.

Reeves Nelson had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Bruins (20-8, 11-4). With the win UCLA moved to within a game of conference-leading Arizona, which lost to USC on Thursday. Lazeric Jones had 10 points and 10 assists for UCLA.

The Sun Devils (10-17, 2-13) played without senior forward scorer Rihards Kuksiks (concussion) for the third straight game. Arizona State has lost 10 of its last 11 games.
