Lazeric Jones, Malcolm Lee and Jerime Anderson each hit a 3-pointer in overtime as visiting UCLA turned back Arizona State 73-72 in a wild Pac-10 game Saturday afternoon.

Jones had 18 points to lead UCLA (14-7, 6-3 Pac-10), which has won five of its last six games. Reeves Nelson added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Bruins, who led by as much as seven in OT before a late Sun Devils’ rally. Lee and Tyler Honeycutt (10 rebounds) each had 12 points.

Arizona State (9-12, 1-8 Pac-10), which trailed by 13 at halftime, crawled back in it with two big Ty Abbott 3-pointers in the final minutes. The Sun Devils tied the game on Trent Lockett’s tip in with 20 seconds left in regulation. Lockett finished with 17 points, Rihards Kuksiks had 15 and Jamelle McMillan added 13 before fouling out for the Sun Devils, who lost their fifth straight and seventh in eight games.

UCLA turned the ball over 10 times in the first 13:06 of the game, but the Bruins held Arizona State to 6-of-30 shooting (0 for 5 on 3-pointers) and slowly pulled away for a 32-19 halftime lead. Jones had 11 of his points in the first half for UCLA.
