Four players scored in double figures as Marquette had its highest scoring game of the season in a 102-77 blowout of Mississippi Valley State in non-conference action Tuesday at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Jae Crowder scored a team-high 22 points for the Golden Eagles, who also got 19 points and five 3-pointers from Darius Johnson-Odom.

Johnson-Odom also added six rebounds, six assists and one block as the Golden Eagles improved to 9-3 overall. Jimmy Butler and Vander Blue scored 17 and 15 points, respectively for the Golden Eagles, who travel to Vanderbilt on Dec. 29.

Dwight Buycks also had a nice stat line for Marquette, finishing with seven assists and five steals to go with his seven points.

Crowder changed the game for Marquette in the first half, scoring 12 straight Marquette points, including three 3-pointers, to turn a 31-24 lead into a 43-29 advantage. The Delta Devils (1-9) never cut the Marquette lead under double digits the rest of the way.

D'Angelo Jackson led the Delta Devils with 17 points, followed by 13 apiece from Falando Jones and Terrance Joyner.

Overall, the Golden Eagles shot 34-of-68 from the field, including 8-of-16 from beyond the arc.
