Freshman Terrence Jones scored a game-high 19 points as No. 16 Kentucky routed visiting Mississippi Valley State 85-60 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky., on Saturday.
Four other players - DeAndre Liggins (16 points), Doron Lamb (16), Brandon Knight (14) and Darius Miller (14) - scored in double figures for the Wildcats (8-2).
Mark Holmes drained a 3-pointer with 13:56 remaining in the first half to give the Delta Devils their last lead 15-12 before Kentucky rolled to a 44-24 halftime advantage.
Guard D’Angelo Jackson led Mississippi Valley with 17 points, while Holmes and Kevin Burwell scored 10 apiece.
Kentucky, which is 3-0 against the Delta Devils, has two easy non-conference games before a big in-state challenge from Louisville on Dec. 31.
