Marshall Moses scored a game-high 31 points and shot 12-for-12 from the field as Oklahoma State exacted revenge from Tulsa with a 71-54 victory Wednesday.

The Cowboys (8-1) suffered their first loss last season - and their most lopsided one - 86-65 to the Golden Hurricane.

Moses, who was 6 for 7 from the free-throw line, entered the game with a team-leading 17.8 points per game, and was shooting better than 58 percent from the floor.

Oklahoma State was without forward Michael Cobbins, who is out indefinitely with an undisclosed illness and has only played two games this season, and guard Fred Gulley, who is day-to-day with a shoulder injury.

The Cowboys won despite a poor game from starting guards Nick Sidorakis, Ray Penn and Keiton Page. The trio finished with 21 points on 6-of-18 shooting and six assists.

Moses entered the game with a team-leading 17.8 points per game, and was shooting better than 58 percent from the floor.

Senior guard Justin Hurtt led the Golden Hurricane with 14 points.

Oklahoma State improved to 70-37 all-time against Tulsa (4-4).
