Preston Knowles led five players in double figures with 18 points, as Louisville rolled over Florida International, 92-55, on Wednesday.

The Cardinals held the Golden Panthers to under 30 percent from the field and just 2-of-14 from beyond the arc.

Louisville dominated in the first half, running off the first 13 points of the game and taking a 48-15 lead at the break behind 13 points from Knowles and nine from Justice. Defense was the key, as the Cardinals held the Florida International to 21 percent (5-of-24) shooting while forcing 15 turnovers in the first 20 minutes.

Florida International drew as close as 59-32 at one point in the second half, but the deficit was too large.

Louisville (5-0) remains undefeated inside their brand new arena and won’t leave the comforts of home until December 22 when it visits Western Kentucky. The toughest home test this month will come when No. 11 Kentucky visits on New Year’s eve.
