Suns 82, Grizzlies 80: Goran Dragic made a layup with 0.5 seconds left as host Phoenix snapped a seven-game slide.

Jared Dudley recorded 15 points and nine rebounds and Shannon Brown added 15 and seven for the Suns, who had not lost eight straight since February 2004.

Rudy Gay collected 21 points and 11 rebounds and Zach Randolph had 18 and 10 for Memphis, which has dropped two straight for the first time this season.

Gay missed a 15-foot jumper that would have put the Grizzlies ahead with eight seconds left, giving Phoenix a last chance in regulation. Dragic took the ball after a timeout and drove to the hoop, laying it in over Memphis’ front line.

Neither team led by more than four points in the fourth quarter and Memphis was within a basket at 80-78 after Gay’s jumper with 3:48 left. The Grizzlies would go scoreless for over three minutes until Gay hit another jumper with 46 seconds to play.
